Horizon Huts – Dawlish in Line

Ian Livesey draws the viewer into a joyful rhythm of repetition and colour with this close-cropped image of Dawlish’s iconic beach huts. Captured from a slightly lower angle, the triangular rooflines form a playful zigzag against a soft Devon sky, while the bold hues — yellow, green, coral and navy — create a cheerful, almost musical flow along the curve of the promenade. It’s a celebration of British coastal character — neat, nostalgic, and full of quiet charm.
